What is your turn around time?
Attention to detail is always a priority when photographing, editing and finalizing your album.
Times may be impacted if scheduled during peak season.
Estimated turn around times:
Portraits: 2-3 weeks
Engagements/couples: 2-3 weeks
Family Sessions: 2-3 weeks
Weddings: 6-8 weeks
What do you edit?
I adjust lighting, contrast, temperature etc. when editing your photos. My goal is to keep the color and lighting consistent throughout your album. Talk to me about what you like!
Things happen - your skin may not be perfect on the day of your session and that's okay. I can edit out any blemishes, bruises, bug bites, scratches etc.
In busy areas there may be people or other distractors in the background taking away from the focus of the photo (you). I am able to edit those distractors out as well.
Do I get an outfit change?
Short answer: YES!
Senior Portraits: Basic Package includes 2 outfits
Engagements / Couples: Basic Package includes 1 outfit
Family Photos: Basic Package includes 1 outfit
If you would like to add additional outfit changes to your session the price will be adjusted to meet your needs! Just reach out to Emma and tell her you want to add another outfit ... or 2... or 3 - easy peasy!
How will I get my album?
Your custom album will be delivered via email through an online gallery platform called Pic-Time.
The images are high resolution. Each high resolution image can be downloaded onto your phone, computer, iPad etc. The album can also be shared to your friends/family through a link in the album.
SD cards are also available for any session. The cost of the SD card will be added on to the cost of the session.
SD cards are available upon request for elopements/weddings.
What do I wear?
It is your session - wear what you like best! My goal is that you are comfortable and confident during the session.
I do find that neutral colored clothing photographs well. Busy patterns and colors take away from the focus of the portrait, which is you (and your loved ones).
Color recommendations:
Whites, creams, browns, tans, earth tones, blush, light browns, steel blue, blue grey, or charcoal.
Send a message for questions related to outfits if you have any!
Feel free to bring a blanket with as well!

Can I order prints?
Of course!
Professional photographs requires professional printing.
When you open your online gallery on Pic-Time there is an option to open the store to your album. Each image from your gallery will appear in the private online store. Any and all images can be selected and shipped right to your door. This option works well for clients who prefer to order on their own and at their own pace.
Emma K. Lee Photography also has photo order options available for those who prefer a one on one ordering process. If you would to order this way, contact emmaklee24@gmail.com to set up a virtual meeting and get your order started!

What camera do you use?
I use Canon gear for my sessions.
I attend all sessions with two cameras. This is to ensure that any technical difficulties with one camera will not effect the session in any way.
I currently shoot with the Canon R5. I attend all sessions with at least one other camera. I also have a Canon R, CanonEOS 5D Mark IV
and Canon Mark III.
I also have a Canon flash, reflectors and other items that I bring with me to each session.
What about payment?
My promise is to always be transparent about pricing. If you have questions please ask!
The session must be paid in full by the day of the scheduled session.

Please note that 4-10 hour wedding bookings require review and signing of contract as well as initial payment to reserve the date.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, your pet or pets are welcome!
They are family too, of course!
Often times I suggest that you bring treats or toys that your pet will pay attention to. If possible, bringing another person who will not be in the photos to help with your pet is helpful.
Allow for a little extra time during the session if you plan to have your pet(s) along as it may take longer to get them settled and looking at the camera.
If pets are not allowed in the location of the session this is out of my control and I will abide by the rules set by the location.
What about weddings?
Weddings might be *the most* special of sessions and they require special meetings and planning as well.
To begin, Emma will send over package information regarding wedding investments after receiving your inquiry. In your initial inquiry feel free to include details like the date and location so availability can be determined.
We will chat about the details, over a cup of coffee, I hope! If the photography investment and plan sound like something you're interested in booking we will then proceed the review and signing of the contract and initial payment to reserve your date.
An online wedding portal (Honeybook) will be utilized for communication, contracts and payments
(upon request alternative payment options like cash or check can be accommodated).

Do you travel?
YES!
Travel can be accommodated with proper planning!
Local travel (within 1-2 hours) can be easily accommodated, but for further travel more planning may be required.
